TT336: Current/mV Input, DC Power Transmitter Description

DC current and voltage output are both supported on a single model. An optional DIN rail bus can deliver primary or redundant power to multiple units without wiring.

High-voltage isolation separates the input from the output circuit. Isolation protects from surges, reduces noise, and eliminates ground loop errors.

Setup and calibration are fast and easy with a convenient USB connection to your PC and Acromag’s Windows configuration software.

Advanced signal processing capabilities, variable range input, and convenient USB programming make this instrument a very versatile temperature measurement device.

These transmitters can withstand harsh industrial environments and operate reliably across a wide temperature range with very low drift. They feature RFI, EMI, ESD, EFT, and surge protection plus low radiated emissions.

How to Re-transmit and Isolate 4-20mA Signals from Remotely-Mounted 3-Wire Gas Detection Sensors - 8400957
Defining the Problem: Signals from 3-wire remote sensors that monitor combustible and toxic gases are typically transmitted directly to the remote gas monitor or controller. However, in some cases, it’s desirable to send the signal to more than one destination. This can either be accomplished by re-transmitting the existing signal to additional locations; or by...

Click here to download How to Select a 4-20mA Isolator Introduction Acromag manufactures a variety of isolators to provide a cost effective solution for many applications. The main reasons for using an isolator are to: eliminate bucking power supplies; protect expensive control room equipment from transient spikes; and break ground loops that may exist between...
Why Do I Need Electrical Isolation? - 8500988 (Log in to view the file)
Why do we need signal isolation? Acromag is in the business of signal conditioning. We manufacture circuits that amplify, isolate, filter, and convert one signal form to another. Most of these circuits also provide electrical isolation. However, added isolation has a cost. Thus, sometimes customers either question their need for isolation or fail to recognize...
