I have successfully used an IP500 series card before. I am following the same configuration steps, but I cannot get the custom card to communicate at 115200. Are there any additional configuration steps necessary for setting up the custom board?
Answer: The problem is most likely related to either the divisor value that you have selected or the fact that you left the MCR bit set (effectively dividing the baud rate by 4) Using the following equation: DIVISOR = CLOCK FREQUENCY ÷ [BAUD RATE x 16]; The divisor for a standard IP500 would be = 13. (8.000 MHz clock) The divisor for your custom IP500 would be = 12 (7.3728 MHz).
