XMC FPGA Modules - Continued
Acromag's XMC form factor FPGA I/O boards are versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications. Some common uses include sonar, radar, hardware simulation, automated test equipment, protocol conversion, in-circuit diagnostics, military servers, telecommunication, and digital signal processing. These boards are well-suited for high-performance applications that require fast processing and flexible I/O options.
The conduction-cooled models of these boards are particularly useful in environments where ambient or forced air cannot provide adequate cooling, such as in manned or unmanned vehicles, battlefield SIGINT and communications systems, and deployment on tanks. These boards are designed to withstand harsh conditions and can operate in extreme temperatures.
Acromag provides a comprehensive engineering design kit and software utilities with examples to help users get started quickly with programming their FPGA I/O boards. The JTAG interface also enables on-board VHDL simulation, which can be useful for testing and debugging code.
