Zync® UltraScale+ MPSoC I/O mPCIe-based FPGA Modules

Zync® UltraScale+ MPSoC I/O mPCIe-based FPGA Modules

APZU-300: AcroPack FPGA module, user-configurable Zynq® UltraScale+ MPSoC I/O.

These reconfigurable FPGA modules are based on the PCI Express Mini Card Electromechanical specification and are 70mm in length with an added 100 pin field I/O connector. The AcroPack is 19.05mm longer than the full length mini PCIe card at 50.95mm. It has the same mPCIe board width of 30mm and uses the same mPCIe standard board hold down standoff and screw keep out areas.

The APZU+ module is a Xilinx Zynq base module the has FPGA fabric available for parallel computing applications. The key information resulting from the parallel processing can then be passed to the ARM processing system for further manipulation and processing.

The APZU+ utilizes state of the art Surface-Mounted Technology (SMT) to achieve its wide functionality and is an ideal choice for a wide range of industrial I/O applications that require a high-density, highly reliable, high performance interface at a low cost.

ARTIX®-7 mPCIe-based FPGA Modules

ARTIX®-7 mPCIe-based FPGA Modules

APA7-500: AcroPack FPGA module, high channel count digital interface: RS485, LVDS and TTL interface options.

These modules provide an FPGA based user configurable bridge between a host processor and a custom digital interface via PCI express. Four models provide a variety of digital I/O standards. Modules feature a user programmable Xilinx Artix-7 series FPGA. Reconfiguration of the FPGA is possible via a direct download into the Flash configuration memory over the PCIe bus. The on-board Flash memory loaded with configuration data allows automatic configuration of the FPGA on power-up.

These modules include a one lane PCIe (PCI Express) interface with one DMA channel for data transfer between the PCIe bus and FPGA block memory.

The board features a 32 Mb Quad Serial Flash memory. The Flash provides storage for the FPGA configuration.

Reconfigurable Xilinx FPGA – In system configuration of the FPGA is implemented via a standard JTAG interface or the PCIe bus. This provides a means for implementation of custom user defined designs.

ARTIX®-7 XMC FPGA Modules

ARTIX®-7 XMC FPGA Modules

XMC-7A:  XMC FPGA module with PCIe interface, plug-in I/O extension mezzanine modules, front or rear I/O.

XMC-7ACC:  XMC FPGA module with PCIe interface, conduction-cooled.

XMC-7AWP: XMC FPGA module with PCIe interface, write-protected flash.

These reconfigurable FPGA modules include the following interfaces: Four or eight high speed serial lanes are allocated to the XMC P15 connector. These lanes can be used for PCIe (PCI Express), Serial RapidIO, or 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The example design will support a four or eight lane Gen 1 PCIe implementation with one DMA channel for data transfer between the PCIe bus and on board DDR3 memory.

Eight or four high speed serial lanes are also allocated to the XMC P16 connector. These serial lanes can be used for Serial RapidIO, PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, XAUI, or Xilinx Aurora. The example design will support dual Aurora interfaces for use of these lanes. Two global clocks and 34 select I/O signals will also be provided on the P16 connector. Select I/O signals are 2.5V I/O pins that can be selected from single-ended I/O standards (LVCMOS, HSTL, and SSTL) and differential I/O standards (LVDS, HT, LVPECL, BLVDS, Differential HSTL and SSTL).

The P4 rear I/O connector will provide two global clock differential pairs, and 30 LVDS signal pairs.

The board features 128 Meg x 64-bit DDR3 SDRAM and 32 Meg x 16-bit parallel Flash. The parallel Flash provides storage for both the FPGA configuration data and MicroBlaze CPU program storage.
