Space-Saver USB-Configured Transmitters Now UL/cUL Class I Div 2 Zone 2 Approved
Acromag's TT Series transmitters recently received UL/cUL listing for approved use in hazardous locations with volatile or flammable gases or vapors. These high-density transmitters can isolate and convert a wide variety of sensor inputs to 4-20mA or 0-10V DC control signals. They are available loop or DC-powered versions and are easy to configure using a PC connected via a USB cable. Our free software helps you quickly select I/O ranges, filtering levels, fault detect, and other settings then precisely scale zero/full-scale output values.
UL’s Class I Division 2 or Zone 2 certification is often required for electronics deployed in chemical, oil, gas, mining, and other manufacturing facilities. With the higher safety rating, these transmitters can be installed closer to sensors and actuators to reduce installation costs for monitoring and control of automated machinery. Choose from the UL-listed models below. More models will be approved soon.
Acromag Extends Base Warranty to 2-Years
Acromag prides itself in producing the finest I/O products that are free from defects to give users years of trouble-free service. To support our quality claims, Acromag backs them up with a rock-solid warranty. All Acromag products are now covered by a 2-year base warranty in the rare event that they fail to perform as specified. This base warranty does not require any registration and goes into effect automatically when the product ships to our customer.
Our 55 years of design and manufacturing experience enables us to anticipate potential problems and eliminate them before a product is sold. To ensure the highest quality products, we employ ISO9001:2000, AS9100, and IPC610 Class II practices, as well as our strict internal quality controls.
New Transmitters Ideal for 4-20mA Isolator, Splitter and High-Voltage Applications
Acromag's TT230 Series transmitters are highly versatile for a wide range of applications. Models with current and voltage inputs are particularly useful for adding isolation, retransmitting signals, or conditioning high-voltage inputs in 4-20mA control loops. These transmitters are USB-configured for precise input scaling and provide a sinking or sourcing 4-20mA output.
4-20mA Signal Splitter Applications
The TT236 Model can retransmit a 4-20mA loop and source power to instruments such as a recorder. Installing units in series, you can send a 4-20mA signal to multiple destinations and wire for sink or source connections as needed.
High DC Voltage and Current Applications
The TT237 and TT238 models convert ±10V and up to ±150V DC inputs to monitor solar and other power generation systems. TT236 units can monitor up to 0-1000Amps DC with an external 100mV shunt.
