I am trying to utilize 2 registers on the acromag 9660 carrier, I have the acromag jumpers set in A16 VME memory space at address 0x0. I have an acromag ip220 and and acromag ip320 in slots 1 and 2 of the carrier and am successfully controlling them. I have the carrier installed in a VME chassis, and I am using vxWorks. I am trying to utilize the following 2 registers.
1) Carrier Board Status Register - (Read/Write, Base + C1H) - I am writing to address - I am writing to the value 0x10 to address 0x00C1 which I would expect to issue a reset. Does this address make sense? What behavior would I expect? Is there a way to tell if the reset occurred. The IP220 and IP320 are still responsive, ie I am wrapping D/A to A/D and still getting a voltage. All I see in memory at that location is 0x00.
2) IP Error Register - (Read, Base + C5H) - Is there a way to induce an error? All I see at that location 0x00C5 is 00. In memory it shows up as 0x0.
