Visual Inspector Operator

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspects electronic sub-assemblies and finished goods.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Reads and interprets materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, meters, and engineering diagrams to determine inspection procedures.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Basic math and technical skills.
- Documentation skills.
- Reading electronic drawings.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Write legibly.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- One to two years’ quality inspector experience.
- Certification in quality control is a plus but not required.
- Some manufacturing background preferred.
- IPC-A-610D Certified, preferred.
Work Environment:
- Employees will work in a clean and humidity-controlled environment. Standing and sitting are dependent on the type of test. Employees must also follow Company quality, safety, and personal protection equipment (boots straps, wrist straps, ESD smock) requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical requirements include being able to sit for prolonged periods of time, as well as to lift to 50 lbs.
- Look through a microscope.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
The work schedule consists of a five-day, 40-hour work week, with overtime dependent on department needs.
