Position: Plant Manager

Acromag.com, a leading electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our production facility. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality control, maintenance, and team leadership. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, effective management skills, and a focus on achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Develop and implement production plans and strategies to ensure efficient utilization of resources and achieve production targets.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Optimize production schedules, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Quality Control:

• Implement and maintain a robust quality control system to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, quality checks, and audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and actively engage employees in quality initiatives.

Maintenance and Equipment Management:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to execute maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and investments to improve overall plant efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, supervisors, and support functions.
• Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to drive employee growth and development.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in using productivity software, ERP systems, and other relevant manufacturing tools.
