Acromag’s software-programmable microBlox signal conditioning modules can now be used to split or duplicate RTD, thermocouple, two-wire transmitter, and other input signals into multiple process control outputs.
Acromag’s new uBSP signal splitter/duplicator acts as a carrier for their microBlox line of plug-in signal conditioning modules to drive two scalable 4-20mA or 0-10V control outputs and an auxiliary 5V third output from a single input. Users can select from more than ten miniature signal conditioning modules to process inputs from RTDs, thermocouples, two-wire transmitters as well as a variety of current, millivolt, or voltage sources. The interchangeable input modules snap into the uBSP carrier which provides input and output terminal blocks plus a USB port for easy software configuration from a Windows PC or Android mobile device.
New Signal Splitter/Duplicators Are Very Versatile with Software Setup and Many Input/Output/Power Options
Acromag extended their line of software-programmable signal splitters with four new models providing current or voltage output and support of wide-range DC power options including bussed wiring and redundancy.
Acromag’s new SP330 series of isolated signal splitter/duplicators are designed to accommodate a broad variety of applications. Very similar to the recently introduced SP230 loop-powered 2-wire series, these 4-wire DC-powered models are also software-configurable for precise conditioning of current, voltage or temperature input signals. The SP330 splitters provide two isolated outputs, proportional to a single input, with a choice of process control signal formats (0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, or ±10V). A standard USB port connects the splitter to a PC or Android device with Acromag’s free software for easy selection and scaling of I/O ranges. Power sources from 6-32V DC are supported and can connect at the terminals, to a power bus along the DIN rail, or at both locations for redundancy. The rugged design features removable terminal blocks to simplify wiring and a metal spring-loaded DIN rail clip for easy insertion or removal in panels. To ensure reliable performance, units are highly immune to electrical noise, protected from surges, and operate from -40 to 75°C. Hazardous location approvals are pending for UL Class 1 Div 2, ATEX Zone 2 and IECex standards. Prices start at just $270.

Acromag’s new SP230 series of isolated signal splitters/duplicators are designed for easier installation and setup. Four models, covering a broad range of sensor signals, provide dual 4-20mA outputs proportional to a single current, voltage or temperature input. A USB connection to a Windows PC or Android device enables simple, precise configuration of I/O ranges and a variety of operational settings with free software. The two-wire instruments include plug-in terminal blocks to install quickly and can acquire power from either output loop. Sink or source output wiring connections are supported. A ruggedized design operates reliably from -40 to 80°C with high immunity to electrical noise and surge protection. UL/cUL Class 1 Division 2, ATEX Zone 2 and IECEx hazardous location approvals are pending. Prices start at just $250.
