ACROMAG APPLICATION ENGINEERING PRODUCT NOTE:
SmartPack Configuration Software (MetraVision 3.03) Replace Function Error



Product: Acromag SmartPack Configuration Software model 50SW-CFS-M03-1.44MB (MetraVision 3.03) 

Problem: User can not perform the replace function with other Acromag products using MetraVision 3.03 Configuration software.

Solution: Change the menu Options | Project Setup… | Network | Node Replacement to "Don’t download application". (see Screen Capture)

Reason: Acromag modules do not use application program downloadable programmable read only memories. By default this option is set to "Force download application". This option causes the system to try to download application code to a module that will not accept it.

Symptoms: A user receives the following dialog box when using the replace function
