  • EIS Series

EIS Series 8-Port Managed or Unmanaged Ethernet Switch

Acromag switches are designed for harsh environments. Featuring a rugged IP30 aluminum  case, 300,000 hour MTBF, and power supply redundancy, you can depend on Acromag for your network.

    Managed or unmanaged operation
With web-based configuration, managed switches ensure easy installation and maintenance. Managed switches also support many powerful Ethernet features sucha s port VLAN, Quality of Service (QoS), Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) Snooping, and failure alarm by relay output.

Self-healing redundant ring capability (recovery time < 300mS)
Critical criteria for industrial applications is the ability to ensure non-stop system operation. Acromag switches employ redundancy to provide a self-recovery mechanism in the revent of a failure. If any length of the primary communication path fails, redundant ring technolgoy allows self-reconfiguration to provide an alternate network path. The ultra-fast recovery time protects mission-critical applicaitons from interruptions and temporary malfunctions.

    Industrial Ethernet features
♦ Fast redundant ring technolgy (<300mS)
♦ Support STP and RSTP redundant protocols
    ♦ -10 to 70°C operating temperature range
    ♦ Port-to-port isolation (1200V AC)
    ♦ Built-in RFI/EMI and surge/transient protection
♦ Wide range 12-48V DC redundant power with reverse polarity protection
    ♦ IEEE 802.3, 3u, 3x compliant
    ♦ Fault alarm relay
